The food stamps program, a long-time beneficiary of federal monies, no known as as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, is one. WIC, which stands for women, infants and children, thereby signifying its primary target, is another supplementary nutrition program potentially up for a chopping session, should the currently proposed budget cuts get enacted. <\/p>\n<p>Perhaps more disconcerting is the number of  seniors already cut off from using vouchers, normally provided by the Senior Farmers\u2019 Market Nutritional Program. In Danbury, Connecticut, even though some vouchers were already distributed, they are currently useless until the state budget gets passed.
