Zika virus, spread by mosquitoes, is a serious concern to many health agencies, because there is no specific vaccine or go-to pharmaceutical combatant of the illness. However, one patient that presented with the disease in Puerto Rico underwent a natural cure that worked very well, eliminating the disease. The 54 year old woman arrived at the health clinic three days post experiencing bites. She had fever, chills, muscle and joint tenderness and a headache. Exhaustive testing proved the patient indeed had contracted Zika. The patient was put on a large amount of vitamin C that went higher over a short span of days. She had 25 then 50 and then 75 grams of the vitamin. After one day she was showing improvement. By day three symptoms had ceased. Vitamin C has long been known to fight off pathogens, besides being immune-boosting, hormone-regulating and a useful adjunct in cases of cancer and cardiovascular disease.<\/p>\n
