This effect takes place in the neuromuscular system where it results in the loss of reflexes in deep tendons. Magnesium therefore plays a major role in influencing neuromuscular activity in our body.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Why Magnesium is Important to Neuromuscular Transmission?<\/h4>\n<p>It is also worth noting that this mineral transmits neuromuscular activity in our bodies by acting as a major mediator of all neural transmission processes that occur in the central nervous system. You can use the concentration of magnesium in the serum to clearly understand or assess the status of magnesium in our bodies. The muscle contains approximately 30 percent of the total concentration of magnesium in our body.
