Insulin\u2019s work in the body is to keep blood sugar within a normal range by getting hold of the blood sugar and handing it over to the blood cell. Blood cells then turn blood sugar into energy. But with people affected by the blood sugar condition, it means the exact same opposite. Blood cells for people with this condition cannot access blood sugar for energy.<\/p>\n<p>It may lead to one feeling tired, hungry or exhausted since no energy is being produced by the body. Since the blood sugar is not usable by the body, it goes to the kidneys and urine which attracts more water leading to an increase in urination. They may also feel thirsty despite drinking enough liquids.<\/p>\n<p>Unexplained weight loss occurs as a result of the body cells not getting the glucose they need. Instead, they burn the muscles and fat for energy.
