Weed killer is a group of chemicals aimed at fighting unwanted harmful plants. Some are designed for specific plant varieties; others operate on any kind of weed. The chemical composition of these drugs is quite toxic and can adversely affect human health.<\/p>\n<p>Remains of herbicides have been discovered in cookies, crackers, cakes, and corn, which are favorite food products. Researches have been made by the group &#8220;<em>Democracy Now and Detox project<\/em>,&#8221; in San Francisco in Anresco laboratory. Anresco applies the latest and best methods of analysis of food products, such as (LC-MS \/ MS). Many consider them the most reliable methods for the analysis of residues of herbicides.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9228 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/vitamins.vitanetonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pesticides-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"pesticides\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The analysis made by Anresco was done with almost 30 foods found on simple shelves in different shops. Glyphosate elements were discovered in General Mills\u2019 Cheerios at 1,124 parts per billion, in Kashi soft-baked chocolate cookies at 275.8 parts per billion, and in Ritz Crackers at 270.3 parts per billion. Different levels were found in other popular foods and products.<\/p>\n<p>Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regularly checks products and medicines for various chemicals and substances that can cause significant harm to health. But they never made a test for herbicides until this year, which is dangerous in high quantities and now FDA will be engaged in this problem more closely.<\/p>\n<p>Weed killer in recent months has been given much more attention. All because in the past year, the World Health Organization for Research on Cancer has named glyphosate a very harmful carcinogen for human that can cause cancer and other diseases. Glyphosate is the most widely used weed killer in the world and is a key element in hundreds of different products in the America and around the world.
