When it comes to leftovers, there is a general rule that subsides with just how long you can eat those leftovers for. When it comes down to the rule for leftovers packaged foods tend to last longer than the dates that are suggested on the packaging. However cooked food leftovers can generally only last to stay in the refrigerator for three or four days.
