Most people typically think it’s from simply laying on it for too long in our our sleep, which can certainly cause it, but there are other cause as well that can simply cause us to have numb hands in the morning. Bad posture while sleeping is probably the main cause of this numbness which most people experience. Other reasons are bug bites(which I would have never guessed), excess alcohol(which makes perfect sense), side effects of medications, diabetes , carpal tunnel syndrome(which has to do with the nerve in our wrists),vitamin deficiency just to name a few. Now we know what causes it so we can take preventive measures to keep feeling in our hands in the mornings.
