The key to a long life may be hiding in your kitchen. According to a new study, pepper may decrease the risk of heart attacks and strokes. These results are limited to chilli pepper, however. eating chilli peppers four times a week can reduce the risk of dying of a heart attack by 40%. The risk of a stroke reduced by 23% for study participants that regularly ate chilli peppers. The study was completed over 8 years in Italy.
