When we think about our diets, we typically think of it in regard to what we can and cannot eat. We think of diet in terms of restriction and weight lost.
Now, this really isn’t our fault. This is how the mainstream public uses the word. But when we use the word here we don’t want you to think primarily in terms of restrictions. Rather, we would like you to think in terms of your daily food intake and nutritional goals.
This is very different from how the word is typically used and we like that. Now that we are all of the same page as to what our diet is all about, let’s see what our diet can do for our bodies. Does the way we eat have an impact on our health and longevity. Well, you already know that answer. Of course it does.
