Study Finds That Vitamin B3 Derivative Can Help Fight Skin Cancer

A new study has found that nicotinamide, a drug derived from vitamin B3, can reduce the risk factor of contracting non-melanoma type skin cancers in people who have a family history of the disease. Over a 12 month period, researchers found that taking two nicotinamide pills a day reduced the development of skin cancer by 23%.
