There are four prerequisites before you can stop obsessing about food. To begin with, you must be able to examine your life. Is there something that is causing you to focus on food so much? You must also be able to ignore your weight. Focusing on your weight may stress you out and cause you to eat more. It takes time and energy to change your habits and you must be able to acknowledge that something is not working. Change needs to happen and you must accept it.
