Do not mix chlorine bleach with vinegar, ammonia or rubbing alcohol. Chlorine bleach alone is disinfectant and removes stains but is not meant to be a household cleaner. When mixed with vinegar, ammonia or rubbing alcohol, chlorine bleach, whether it be liquid or powder, can cause fumes that can be deadly. Sodium Hydroxide is the active ingredient in chlorine bleach that causes it to be harmful when mixed with other chemicals. There are other cleaners much safer than bleach.
