What Makes 7-Keto Better Than Regular DHEA?

What Makes 7-Keto Better Than Regular DHEA?

DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a hormone that occurs naturally in the human body and is secreted by the adrenal gland. On the other hand, 7-Keto DHEAweight loss is what’s called a metabolite of DHEA. Simply put, the human body synthesizes 7-Keto when one ingests DHEA. Both of these have been scientifically proven to be weight loss supplements and sources of a range of other health benefits, including memory loss and decreasing the negative effects of inflammatory maladies such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Although, regular DHEA (precursor to the hormone androstenedione) stimulates the production of vital male and female sex hormones, 7-Keto cannot produce such hormones. However, scientific research has proven that 7-Keto might be safer than the regular body hormones owing to the fact that it avoids a host of complications associated with DHEA. One of these inevitabilities is the fact that DHEA levels in the body decreases with ageing and due the intake of certain types of drugs.

Used in small amounts, this naturally occurring hormone is possibly safe according to research carried out by National Institutes of Health. Increased dosage however leads to side effects ranging from mild symptoms of acne and stomach upsets to more problematic side effects such as high blood pressure and liver damage. Additionally, increased production of estrogen and testosterone caused by this hormone results in growth of undiagnosed prostate, breast and endometrial cancer.

Luckily, 7-Keto (DHEA metabolite derivative) eliminates many of the side effects associated with the parent product given that it does not break down into the sex hormones, estrogen and testosterone. Thus it has all the associated benefits of DHEA while eliminating its side effects. 7-Keto is currently used for weight loss regimes and regulation of body’s metabolism due to its ability to increase the levels of thyroid hormone T3. In addition to its capacity to retard the effects of ageing, 7-Keto has proved to be the perfect alternative to regular DHEA especially in situations where age starts to set in.
