Gastrointestinal problems in children can be a difficult health problem to figure out but new study suggests that use of home remedies may not be beneficial to children with gastrointestinal disorders. Researchers studied 14 children that had issues with diarrhea colic and other gastrointestinal symptoms, and unfortunately the results came back inconclusive meaning that there were no positive effects found from using home remedies. Just because a home remedy is safe does not mean that that specific herb should be used on everyone that has gastrointestinal issues. Much caution must be taken especially when used for children.
