There are many different health benefits that you can get from eating pineapple. Pineapple contains a lot of Vitamin C and just 1 serving of it is enough Vitamin C for your entire day. Pineapple also is high in bromelain which helps break proteins down in our body and aids our digestion. Pineapples are also fruits that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties due to phenolic acids and flavonoids. Finally, pineapples contain branched chain amino acids that help produce energy and aid in muscle repair after exercise.
