Having a diet high in sugar is not healthy. It is known to cause diabetes
and heart disease among other things. Sugar is also addictive and without it
your body can go through withdrawal similar to opioid withdrawal. Headaches, nausea, and fatigue are some symptoms just to name a few. If you want to be healthier and not consume sugar there are steps you can take to lessen the withdrawal symptoms. Using artificial sweeteners and adding more protein and fiber to your diet can help. It can be tough cutting sugar out of your diet but there are ways to help you do it and in the long run you will be healthier and happier.
