Is Anti-Inflammatory Eating Actually That Good For You?

The jury is still out on whether the anti-inflammatory diet actually prevents inflammation, disease, and aging. There is some research that suggests people who follow a Mediterranean diet, which includes many of the same foods as the anti-inflammation diet, have less chance of getting heart disease or cancer, however there is no proof that it is due to any specific foods or to the practice of abstaining from specific foods. Until further studies prove otherwise, it is most likely in your best interest to eat a balanced diet.
