Modern day stress, poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle habits are contributors to insomnia. Medicines used for these problems are expensive hard to get and require a doctor’s prescriptions. Pre-existing conditions are also factors for the inability to use certain medicines. These tips for getting to sleep quickly are: Chamomile tea. A teaspoon steeped in hot water for 20 minutes has been known to relax people when taken one hour before bedtime. Lettuce steeped in a couple of boiling water. Steep it for 20 minutes. Warm milk with cinnamon is another good solution. Try to take a warm bath two hours before bed to help you sleep well.
