Several way to measure fitness are available. Main things to be measured are heart rate, flexibility, stamina. Muscle strength should be measured too. One the starting point is established then the plan to gain strength and better the body and heart can be mapped out. It is good to re evaluate where the body is at throughout. Heart rate and target zone are most important. There are several electronic devices to help meet the goals established.
