Hydrating Power Of Omega-7 From Sea Buckthorn
Looking for ways to increase hydration both internally and externally? Look no further than Omega-7 from Sea Buckthorn! You may have heard of Omega-3 fatty acids, commonly found in fish oil, and maybe Omega 6 acids like in flaxseed.
Have you heard of Omega-7 fatty acids?
This amazing unsaturated fatty acid, also called palmitooleic acid that is found in high concentrations in Sea Buckthorn. This cheery orange-berried shrub, also known as Hippophae rhamnoides is found in the Himalayas and has been used for thousands of years to provide protection for our body’s most important detoxification and protective systems. The fatty acids from this great plant have many wonderful properties that make it irreplaceable for its health benefits. It can improve blood circulation, lower blood sugar, reduce elevated lipid levels, break down adipose tissue, increase sensitivity to insulin, oxygenate the skin, and remove toxins from the body. It can also protect against skin infections, prevent allergies and slow aging!
How does it do all this?
By inhibiting inflammation! The inflammatory cascade is essential for life, stopping infections before they spread and laying down the foundation for healing. Unfortunately, when our bodies have the wrong chemical markers, like an imbalance of good to bad fats, our inflammation system can go haywire and not know when to stop swelling, fever and pain that go along with it. Having anti-inflammatory Omega fatty acids available gives our bodies the building blocks it needs to build a healthy and balanced inflammatory response. This allows our body to regulate all of our systems, from the cardiovascular system that regulates blood circulation and blood pressure to the hormonal synthesis and detoxification of the liver to the membranes of our skin that provide an essential barrier to our environment.
Hippophae rhamnoides has been used for thousands of years in herbal medicine traditions. The berries, leaves and seeds are used medicinally. Its bright orange fruit is especially high in protective antioxidants, as well as nutrients like potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and phosphorus, folate, biotin and vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E! Amazingly, the plant oil may also be one of the only plant foods known to provide all four omega fatty acids — omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9. The oil derived from the plants seeds, berries and leaves is an excellent addition to any skin regimen as the fatty acids lay down a protective barrier that holds in hydration while its antioxidant properties fight damage from environmental toxins like pollutants in the air or harmful UV rays. This gives sea buckthorn oil the ability to protect your skin from environmental damage while hydrating your body from the outside in! The amazing effects have been studied around the world!
