Science Translational Medicine has published an article in which researchers have discovered that chemotherapy actually spreads cancer cells throughout other tissues of the body. The cancer treatment industry is benefitting from this because although chemotherapy shrinks tumors, it can cause cancer as well. There have been instances where those treating cancer abused patients and medications for chemotherapy in order to turn a profit. There are even some who have been arrested and in jail with likely, more to follow.
