While gyms are great places to work out all year round, it’s not strictly necessary to go to one to keep yourself fit. There are number of strength building full body exercises that you can do without the aid of any gym equipment. A recent Fitness Republic piece outlines a number of these exercises, including one called the Dynamic Toning Workout. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and involves push-ups, squats jumps, tricep dips, and bicycle crunches that are all supposed to be performed at a rapid pace so that your body is in motion for the duration of the exercise. The workout is very intense, but it does produce results.
Another equipment free full body workout is called the Burn-Out Full Body Toning Ladder. It consists of a sequence of burpees, plank jacks and tuck jumps that are to be formed in sequences of 10, 20 and 30. Once completed, you then repeat the sequences in reverse order. In addition to toning your body, the workout also has cardio component that good for getting your blood pumping and your blood pressure normalized.
