Garlic is a root vegetable which is known to produce a wide variety of health benefits. There is a lot of research that has been done over the years on this plant leading to the discovery of new benefits.

Treatment of diabetes

Diabetes is a chronic condition caused by having elevated blood sugar for a prolonged period. The hormone that is responsible for regulation of blood sugar is called insulin.
