You need to temporarily stop using contact lenses and make up. You can cleanse the eye with coriander seeds and use a warm compress to drain the stye, teabags, preferable black ones can be used as wet compresses too. Cold cucumber and potato slices can also be soothing. If the stye lasts over two weeks or gets worse, see a physician.
