Eating a gluten free diet has become all the rage. While some people indeed have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, many others have adopted a diet free of gluten to attempt to mange their weight or combat feelings of fatigue or indigestion. For those who truly need a gluten free diet it can be difficult to avoid foods that may inadvertently contain gluten or were prepared on surfaces or with tools that were also used to prepare foods containing gluten. For those who choose a gluten free diet for other reasons it is important not to go all the way gluten free as the grains found in wheat products provide unique nutrients that are not found gluten free options.
