There are two diets that are healthy and research have found can lower the opportunity for older adults to have memory difficulties. This research was published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. One of the diets is called MIND diet. This diet is limited to 15 types of foods. The “healthy” foods included in the diet range from green leafy vegetables to wine. The unhealthy foods range from red meat to fried foods.
The other diet is called the Mediterranean which includes healthy and unhealthy foods as well.
