Artificial Sweeteners and Depression

Diet soda, artificial sweeteners, iced tea…those that are artificially sweetened may in fact play a role in depression in people who take them in high doses.

A recent study shows that there seems to be a link between such sweeteners and the issue of depression. How is this so? Well, such artificial sweeteners may have some sort of impact on receptors and chemicals in the brain.

We already know that such sweeteners cannot possibly be good for you since they are, well…artificial. But now seeing that they are also connected to issues of depression shows that their are too many possible issues associated with such artificial ingredients and we must warn against their use.
