water drinkConstipation is a very common problem of the digestive system and it
means different things to many people. This can be defined as less
frequent bowel movements than normal and difficulty in passing stool.
This condition makes you feel bloated, heavy and uncomfortable and
everybody has experienced this in life. The good news is that there are
many remedies that can help deal with this constipation and some of
these are discussed below.

Drinking a lot of water

When you feel like you are constipated you can take a lot of
water because water will add fluid to your colon and mass to your stool
making it softer and easy to pass. It is advisable that you remain
steadfast to clean water and avoid beverages like tea, coffee or soda
which contain stimulants because these worsen dehydration.

Consumption of more fiber

constipation. These include things like vegetables, fruits and beans.
This makes your stool to become delicate and very easy to pass.

Exercise

If you are having constipation then exercising can greatly help
you because it helps your intestinal muscles to contract making the
stool move out quickly. It speed the movement of food through the
intestine which means less water will be absorbed. This makes stool to
be softer therefore easy to pass eliminating constipation.
