Do B-vitamins have to be Co enzymated before the body can use them?

October 30, 2013 By Darrell Miller

vitbfoodsThere are several vitamins in the B-vitamins family. Each of the vitamins has distinct properties from the other. However, all of them have an important role to play in cell metabolism and naturally occur together. Before being utilized in the body B-vitamins have to be coenzymated into their active forms. The coenzymate form of B complex is easily absorbed into the bloodstream and begins its work immediately.

Important Role of Vitamin B

B-complex vitamins have an important role to play in the Krebs cycle. They support proper neurological and cognitive functioning and help the body cope up with stressful situations. In addition, they support the functioning of the adrenals, cardiac muscles and myelin sheath. They are water-soluble and the excess are easily excreted in form of urine since  they have low levels of toxins. Since they are water-soluble, you have to consume them at regular times during the day in order supplement them.

Consuming B Complex

They are often consumed in a complex and intertwined form since this provides you with a variety of the vitamin at a go than consuming a single type in excess. Regular consuming of one variety is likely to result in an imbalance in the body. This is why you have to consume Complex B since they will provide you a complete balance of vitamins. They are supplied by foods such as meat, eggs, nuts, unprocessed whole grains, seeds and vegetables.

For complex B vitamins to be effective, they should be given by the use of either intramuscular and intravenously. Coenzymated B vitamins are the best choice for those people experiencing poor metabolic functions of the liver. Other forms of vitamins in non – coenzymated forms have little effect on such conditions. If you understand their functioning, you will have it easier utilizing the best forms in order to have a good supply of energy.
