November 19, 2019 By Darrell Miller

According to a recent study, almost half of Americans don’t get adequate Vitamin D. This results in an increase of health issues, including poor gut health. Compared to a supplement, Vitamin D from Sunlight stabilized and improved gut health to a significant amount. Vitamin D is best obtained from the noonday sun, where it is most efficient uptime in rays. Less sun exposure is needed to produce more Vitamin D at noon, and helps with skin cancer risks.

Key Takeaways:

  • Vitamin D from the Sun is essential to the health of humans, and studies show it is even more beneficial than a supplement.
  • Vitamin D can help improve gut health, in addition to cardiovascular, and many other benefits.
  • Vitamin D is easiest to form at noon, and the bright rays of the sun require less exposure at this time to form the most Vitamin D.

“A new study published in Frontiers in Microbiology discovered that “healthy” exposure to UV radiation can boost vitamin D levels and improve the diversity of friendly bacteria living in the gut in certain individuals.”
