The Pancreas And Inflammation Pain And Age

July 6, 2017 By Corey B

As we age, our body produces less amount of pancreatin. Pancreatin is important for our body as it helps keep inflammation in check. And as the quantity of pancreatin reduces, inflammation will slowly get out of control. However, we can’t do much about the decrease in the levels of pancreatin in our body. It is a part of the aging process and everyone will have to face it. Fortunately, with the help of pancreatic enzymes, it is very much possible to reduce inflammation.

The main reason behind inflammation is because of a protein called fibrin. Fibrin blocks the lymph and blood vessels which result in swelling. It results in the production of blood clots which often causes heart attacks or strokes. However, pancreatic enzymes are capable of getting rid of fibrin. This process of breaking down fibrin is known as fibrinolysis.

How Curcumin Helps with Inflammation

Curcumin is an ingredient of turmeric and is anti-inflammatory in nature. Its anti-inflammatory properties are even more powerful than most of the anti-inflammatory drugs. It will help your body fight against foreign invaders. Without curcumin, bacteria will be able to easily set in your body and cause damage. It also has anti cancer properties. And in case you are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, curcumin will be able to help you out.

The main advantage of curcumin is that it will naturally reduce your inflammation. You can use anti-inflammatory drugs to get rid of inflammation as well. But in the case of those drugs, you may have to deal with some serious side effects. There is absolutely no risk involved in curcumin. It doesn’t interact with other drugs. However, in case you are a diabetic patient, then you should note that curcumin can lower blood sugar levels. Pregnant women are also advised to not take curcumin.
