You can “turn off” aggressive breast cancer genes and make tumors treatable by eating Brussel sprouts and drinking green tea, according to new study

November 8, 2017 By Darrell Miller

Scientists have discovered, by testing on lab rats, that a combination of some compounds found in both Brussel sprouts and green tea may assist in “turning off” the genes for breast cancer in women. Sulforaphane can be found in Brussel sprouts and polyphenols which are found in green tea can be consumed together to create the proper combination your body needs in order to prevent cancer. Most doctors are already well aware that diet can assist in curing most ailments, and this study is further proof.

Key Takeaways:

  • While eating Brussel Sprouts has always been known to be healthy, this study suggests they can help to prevent cancerous tumors.
  • The study also suggests that Brussel Sprouts and Green tea can help with other health issues. To include gastric ulcers and stomach inflammation.
  • This study indicates that the experiment was carried out on rats. It gives no indication if follow-on human related testing is to be done.

“A new study finds that eating brussel sprouts and drinking green tea can “turn off” aggressive breast cancer genes and make tumors treatable, as reported by The Daily Mail.”
