When trying to stay healthy, keeping cholesterol out of your diet may seem important but it’s not always that bad for you. It’s important to be aware both fat and thin people can have high levels of bad cholesterol. Cholesterol is not all bad for you in fact, HDL is necessary to get rid of the bad LDL cholesterol from your body. Your body needs cholesterol for cell function and to create vitamin D. Your genes can dictate levels of bad cholesterol in you system, it’s good to be aware. It’s also important to know that your cholesterol can be too low causing health issues.
