Ashwagandha has proven successfully in treating fertility problems and arthritis. The recommended dose of this herb is 3-6 grams in tablet form every day. However, this herb should not be taken when pregnant or in combination with pain medicines or pharmaceutical sedatives. Moreover, those who react to plants that belong to the nightshade family should use this herb with caution.

This herb helps enhance a calm emotional condition and supports strong psychological performance, hormonal balance and optimal immune function. Rhodiola is the best adaptogen for decreasing anxiety. It enhances physical and mental stamina, enhances sleep and decreases fatigue, irritability, and stress. Moreover, Rhodiola enhances the immune systems, decrease inflammation and reduces the occurrence of flu and infections. This herb has proved effective in treating fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Furthermore, Rhodiola is useful for poor appetite and treating chronic stress headaches. The recommended dose is 200-400 mg in tablets form every day. However, people with bipolar depression who exhibit manic behavior should avoid it.
