Some of the common health benefits flaxseeds offer are blood sugar reduction, digestion aids, improved heart health, hunger reduction for weight loss, and lowering the chances of cancer. They even help reduce hot flashes! Although, it’s important to only consume flaxseed that has been roasted and grounded, as the raw form contains toxic substances that can be dangerous to pregnant woman or people on blood thinners.
