Living healthy means living fit. Now, how we define that can be different across many different ages and stages in life. Simply put, all we are saying is that you should desire to be healthy, watch what you eat and get appropriate exercise for your age.
What that exercise is can vary, depending upon many factors. For example, if running is difficult on the joints, walking will burn just as many calories (it might just take a bit of time to hit that calorie count).
Another thing to be cautious about is lifting weights incorrectly. You can certainly strain a muscle without proper training and guidance.
But more than any of these suggestions, one thing we highly suggest is that you stay away from fitness gimmicks. You know the type…they are often seen on tv late at night being advertised for a special sale price. These are terrible instruments that will only (most likely) cause you injury rather than do any good.
If you are curious to see what some of these gimmicks are, take a look at today’s article that will highlight a number of them that have either been, or continue to be, sold on television.
