There is an ocean of trash in Thailand and it is moving in on Thailand’s tourist resorts. The garbage patch is about ten kilometers long and it weighs about 100 tons. It was discovered by a fishing trawler captain off the coast of Chumphon province. The trash was mostly comprised of plastic.
