We are a people on the go. Constantly. As a consequence of this, we end up depriving ourselves. We deprive ourselves of nutritious foods and substitute it for what is called fast food. This is a terrible choice.
We also substitute work for sleep. We think that the more we sleep the more time we are losing in terms of our productivity and performance.
However, is this actually the case? It is absolutely crucial that our bodies get rest on a daily basis. Why? Because our muscles need to repair, our immune system needs to flush itself out, and our brain needs to rest.
This is why sleep is important and necessary. Don’t deny your bodies the rest that you need.
