A recent study examined the effects of ionizing radiation exposure and its link to Alzheimer’s. People are exposed to ionizing radiation through a variety of sources including x-ray machines, kitchen, microwaves, planes, and objects of the like. The study found that ionizing radiation, even in low doses, can manipulate the brain’s molecules to appear similar to pathologies in those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
