RayVio Corp and Boston University have teamed together to understand and prevent vitamin d deficiency. This deficiency was important to research because it is linked to very serious health conditions. The new program was designed to determine how to use UV light to efficiently increase vitamin D production in the body. These UV lights are already being used to purify water in order to prevent infection.
