Internet has enabled people to share opinions and advices across platforms reaching many people, and health issues are one of the more popular topics. Recently, there’s a developing trend claiming that chia seed, when added to water, can benefit those looking to lose weight. There are small studies to support this claim, but the sample size and overall term were quite small. Still, since these seeds are rich in fiber, the feeling of satiety is promoted when we consume them, leading to lesser food intake and prevention of overeating.
