One of the  most important aspects of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is properly managing stress. With your stress under control, your body will be able to metabolize fat easier, your risk factor for contracting a range of debilitating illnesses will be lower and you’ll have a more positive outlook on life. While there is no one magic bullet that will reduce stress for everyone, this Huffington Post article lists eight different tried and true stress reducing strategies. Many of the suggestions the article makes have to do with managing your time more effectively, saying no to extra work when you’re already overburdened and planning ahead as often as possible.

If you create a weekly meal plan for yourself made up of nutritious and filling dishes, you’ll find it easier to ignore the temptation of greasy fast food. While it might seem counterintuitive, making small but meaningful changes to how you use your time, you can make significant positive changes to your life.
