Newly conducted research studies are showing something promising in the fight against non-alcohol fatty liver disease. If this disease is present, it is generally found in obese people who drink little to no alcohol. Interestingly, new studies have shown that marijuana users have a less common occurrence of this liver disease, with the very least occurrence being in marijuana users who use marijuana the most. It is thought that CBD (one of marijuana’s cannabinoids) may be providing this protective benefit to the liver.
