Ringing In The Ears: How To Avoid It

November 8, 2016 By Corey B

A strange high-pitched ringing in ears is regarded as a very irritating condition that has no external source. If you do hear a ringing or whistling sound in your head frequently, it may be a sign of hearing loss. The sound can be pulsating or steady and may occur in one ear or both. In older men, hearing a ringing sound in ears is often the first indication of hearing loss. Many people feel these symptoms for a short period after being exposed to loud noises. However, if the condition persists, it is essential to have yourself checked out as soon as possible.

Hearing loss is one of the most common health concerns in the world today. People who have high levels of blood sugar are more prone to hearing complications. Numerous studies have shown that people suffering from diabetes are almost twice as likely to lose their hearing ability as compared to healthy people. Excess sugar in the blood can damage your blood vessels and harm your nerves. The tiny blood vessels in the ear can easily be impaired by high glucose levels in the blood. This, in turn, affects your ears and leads to hearing loss. It is highly essential to keep your blood level maintained in order to prevent these difficulties.

Maintaining blood sugar level is highly important for you. There are many nutrients that can help you control these levels. Cinnamon, in particular, has been widely recognized as an effective supplement to treat high sugar level. Taking a gram of cinnamon a day can effectively lower glucose levels in your blood and prevent your blood vessels from getting damaged. Chromium is another excellent supplement that helps you control blood sugar levels to great effect. A human body is unable to metabolize sugar if it suffers from chromium deficiency. If your chromium intake is good, your body will convert glucose into energy in an efficient way. Hence, it is recommended to ingest cinnamon and chromium regularly to prevent high blood sugar level and hearing loss.
