Spices and herbs have been known to assist in a healthier living for a while now. Studies are looking into just how effective they can be. This study looked at cinnamon, cloves, ginger, turmeric, coriander and cayenne. Cinnamon was found to reduce glucose levels. Cloves were found to lower inflammation. Ginger was found to help with nausea causing events. Turmeric may assist in treating Alzheimer’s disease. Coriander relieved irritable bowl syndrome. Cayenne can help with pain when applied to skin. All of these spices were found to have some possible medicinal use.
