There are many harmful food products imported to the United States from China which are harmful to eat. For example, one of the harmful food products is salt. In China, industrial salt is often used for human consumption leading to a high risk of certain medical conditions such as hypertension. Another example of a food made in China that should be avoided is chicken. There is a large number of food borne illnesses in China and chickens are kept in awful conditions which puts Americans at risk who eat these imported chickens. In addition to these two foods that should be avoided, there are quite a few more such as apple juice, cod fish, chinese garlic, tilapia fish, and plastic rice.
