The general consensus of dietitians is the more color in a food, the better it is for you. For colorless foods this means they get a reputation, and mostly rightly so, of being not so nutritious, but some are the exceptions and should be added. Bananas, are a great source of fiber and worth the higher sugar content.Potatoes may be carb loads, but have so many mineral and vitamins as well as being shown to possibly lessen diabetes, they should be a staple.Mushrooms and cauliflower are also colorless foods that are perfect for a healthy diet.
