There are some people who spend most of their time counting calories. It is understandable as the author spend more then half of his life counting calories for the benefit of diet and nutrition. Over the summer the author decided to lose weight and took active to change behaviors in terms of how the author counts calories. The change in lifestyle resulted in less stress as well as behavior changes in the amount and portions of food the author has eaten.
