It’s long been established that a lack of vitamin D can lead to a slew of health problems. However, a new study has found a link between vitamin D deficiency and a higher risk factor of contracting multiple sclerosis. If future studies find further evidence linking a lack of vitamin D and multiple sclerosis, vitamin supplements might be used to prevent the development of debilitating disease.
