There is a study being done on the efficacy of Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically found in fish oil and it’s effect on Alzheimer’s. This study is specifically targeting those that have parents affected by Alzheimer’s and are themselves cognitively healthy. Part of the group will take a pill of the fatty acid, and part of the group will take a placebo. They will use this to test blood flow through the brain, tracking Alzheimer’s like proteins, and congnitive function.
